Canon Digital Rebel XTi + Canon EF-S 17-85 IS USM. Shot in RAW and applied some Photoshop magic :)
So when are you getting the SLR?

hehe soon. I am gathering the fund first. Aiming at EOS 400D too. :)
Any suggestions?

The 400D is an awesome camera for its price. If you're really into photography, I would recommend NOT getting the kit lens. The EF-S 17-85mm, while a bit expensive, is superior in a number of ways. Longer reach, better build, Image Stabilization (really comes in handy in lower shutter speed situations), and the USM which makes it a very quiet lens.
Go to a camera store and try for yourself. That way you'll know which combination works best for you.
