That guy very blur lah
After owning the fantastic Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 mk II (try saying it real fast 3 times!) for about a week I finally got the chance to take it out. Prime lenses are legendary for their bokeh (background blur) and this little Canon is no exception. It's definitely the best $119.99 a Canon dSLR user can spend.
At f/1.8 the images come out rather soft, giving it a melancholic feeling. Oh man I can't believe I used the word melancholic.
Buttery bokeh.
At f/2.5 the sharpness is unreal.
Rrrroll up the rrrim!
His name is Pierce.
This is the kinda moment when I wish I had a 70-200mm f/2.8L instead of a prime.
Eh?
Listening to Steely Dan again after a while. Steve Gadd still rocks my socks.

Thanks dude.
A dSLR, a good lens and the urban landscape of Singapore will make a killer combination for photography. Wish I could be in Asia right now!
